Greg plays along Dharma's game to be be Southener with a heavy phony accent in a sports shop, he finds the Dixie other customer is Samuel Harper, the new federal judge he must plead before the next day. As his honor is clearly most sensitive to Yankees making fun of Redneck hicks, Greg and Dharma continue the pretense, so well the judge visits them at home, looking for 'homeboy' company and the son he never had, being lonely since his wife died. Dharma invites the friendly old man fishing; moonshine makes poor Greg drunk and sick. The judge decides to move back to his beloved Tennessee, but first insists to reward Greg's hospitality by inviting him to a career-advantageous dinner with US Vice-president Al Gore, and after a desperate lie it's his 'Memphis' dad's birthday decides to bring Gore to Edward's party!
